Katrina DeArmey has over 15 years of experience in various aspects of commercial real estate for all product types including office, industrial, and retail. As Southern California Partner, Katrina is responsible for oversight of acquisitions, entitlements, and development of industrial product in major markets throughout California including the Inland Empire.
Katrina began her real estate career with Spieker Properties, managing Class A office and retail. With the merger of Spieker Properties and Equity Office Properties in 2001, Katrina joined a team that managed all construction activity for a 10 million square foot portfolio. Katrina then joined Panattoni Development working with their industrial development group. She was directly responsible for entitlements and development of industrial buildings in Southern California’s Inland Empire. Katrina’s first venture with Phelan Development Company was from 2007-2009 in which she worked on the acquisition and entitlement of multiple land sites.
Prior to re-joining Phelan Development in 2016, Katrina was Vice President of Bluett & Associates where she oversaw receivership and asset management for the firm’s nationwide portfolio. During this time, Katrina oversaw the successful re-positioning and disposition of distressed assets, mainly controlled through court appointed receivership, in excess of 3 million square feet and valued at over $150,000,000.
Throughout her career, Katrina has been responsible for acquisitions, entitlements, development, asset management, re-positioning and disposition of over $200,000,000 of commercial properties located throughout the United States. Katrina graduated at the top of her class from Pepperdine University’s School of Business and Management. She currently holds a California Broker’s License and is an active volunteer in her community.
